🔋 Tech Tip of the Day: Is Your Battery Lying to You?
Your devices don’t just run out of juice — sometimes, they lie about how much is left.
If your phone or laptop shuts off suddenly at 20%, or hangs on 1% forever, your battery calibration might be off. Here’s how to fix it:
🛠️
Quick Fix: Calibrate Your Battery
Charge to 100%.
Use it until it dies completely. (Let it turn off on its own.)
Leave it off for a few hours.
Charge it back to 100% in one session, uninterrupted.
This helps your device re-learn its true battery capacity — especially helpful if it’s been acting wonky.
🧠 Bonus Tip:
Some newer devices (like iPhones) manage this automatically — but for older laptops and Android phones, manual calibration every 2–3 months can extend battery life and accuracy.
